Okay so first of all, the lack of fourth wall in this fandom makes me cringe like crazy.  If they’re actively seeking out fic about themselves, that’s one thing, but if they are being made aware of it on a regular basis, that is not fair to them or to the people who read and write it.  But secondly, and more important, I just think it’s super cool that they are aware of this and blatantly don’t give a fuck.  ”See, this means that we’re together,” but they still do it all the time anyway!  And no, this is not their secret way of saying, “YES LOL WE ARE TOGETHER,” because even if they are, they are obviously not comfortable letting the public know for reasons pertaining to their careers or just because they don’t want to and that’s okay.  But most likely, they are not in a relationship, and they are clearly very aware of what it makes people think and they’re okay with it!  They don’t care if people think they’re gay no matter what they identify as and that is super awesome.  Gold stars all around for this band.
